No desire to do things that you normally would love to do. However, this time will pass and you need to get yourself back into the swing of things. One of the most important things to remember when going through a break up, is that it's better that it happened now instead of further along down the road. Your heart may be broken, but you should take it as a lesson learned.

When you have had your heart broken, it may seem that you have no reason to even wake up in the morning. You need to get yourself out of that kind of mindset as soon as possible. After a break up, you can not continue to wallow in your own self pity. You have to learn to forgive, forget and continue moving forward in your life.

Any break up is bad, because your belief system has been shattered, and you have taken a massive blow to your self- esteem. Some break ups, however, can be worse than others, and could possibly destroy a person.

Try to find the brighter side of what has happened, and be grateful that you are free from that relationship. In order to move on you will have to get yourself back into the world. Throw yourself back into the social situations that you had been avoiding since your breakup. Do not avoid your favorite places just because you might run into your ex. You shouldn't have to give up on things that you love to do just because of a crappy breakup.

It's time to just let go, hold your head up high, and know that this was the best thing for both of you. You weren't deserving of this bad break up, and you shouldn't let it control and ruin your life. Know that you are better than that. Things always have a funny way of getting better, even if you can't see that this very second.
